* English as a Second Language (ESL)

For those wishing to learn English as 'beginners' and for those who want to improve their ability

* group face-to-face sessions with a tutor, and/or

* individual, computer-based, self-tutoring

Classes may be available at any time between 9 am and 7 pm Monday through Friday.

All teaching is planned to match the needs of each participant, invariably following an assessment of competencies (Speaking, Reading, and Writing). Participants are advised of the recommended hours of attendance they should book.

 

Indicative Tuition Fees (inclusive of learning materials) a
range from $8 to $24 per one hour session according to programme of choice.

ESOL (day classes) $500 for 20 sessions. Deposit must be paid at enrolment to secure a place. The balance of fee must be paid immediately before classes begin for that Intake. The Institution reserves the right not to mount a course if the number per intake is uneconomical

English for special purpose

such as 'Report Writing', 'Minute Writing', 'Business English.' Tuition Fees  for individuals or groups  are negotiated  case by case.

IELTS Test preparation classes                   
Held at CHES from 5.15 to 7.15 weekday evenings.
Tuition Fees (inclusive of learning materials): $30.00 per one hour   session for 12 hours.

Working Hours Course Fees: 
English Upgrading - Computer based instruction    

• $80 for 10 hours (with IELTS Prep class) 

• $120 for 10 hours 

​

English Upgrading - teacher assisted

$150 for 10 hours (with IELTS Prep class)
$240 for  10 hours 

Computer-based IELTS Prep
$100 for 10 hours.
